Welcome to dentsu!

When the Onboarding team at dentsu reached out to me to create the first course learners would take upon joining the company, I was extremely excited.

We’ve all had to go through onboarding processes that were stale and lackluster. To curve that feeling, the team knew we wanted a course focused on diversity, inclusion, equality, and education, while still adhering to dentsu’s brand guidelines.

Guided by the ADDIE model, I began by analyzing dentsu’s past onboarding programs and collaborated and set project expectations with several stakeholders and SMEs. I then designed the script and storyboard, developed the course and interactivities in Stroyline, produced the voice-over audio, and inserted closed captions. The stakeholders were given the review link before testing in dentsu’s sandbox environment before eventually going into production in Cornerstone.

I designed the course to have an inviting tone with a narrative that ensured learners felt welcomed on their first day with the company.

The Onboarding team was over the moon with how this project turned out and did not expect how big of an upgrade this would be for new joiners.
